The next day at noon, the sun was blazing.

On campus, a delivery guy named Su Chen navigated the paths on his electric tricycle.

“I am the blazing knight, traversing the city,” he sang cheerfully, sweat dripping down his face. Yet, he was full of energy.

After just one more delivery, he would have saved enough to buy his girlfriend the latest 5G phone. They had been dating since freshman year and were now in their sophomore year, together nearly a year and a half.

To his regret, he hadn’t held her hand many times. But she promised that if he got her the latest 5G phone, she’d agree to one of his more extravagant requests.

And now, he was close to achieving that.

Screech.

The electric bike stopped beneath a girls’ dormitory. Su Chen located a package and called the number on it.

“Hello, your package is here. Could you come down to sign for it?” he said in a well-rehearsed manner.

“Please wait five minutes, I’ll be right there,” a sweet, melodious voice replied and hung up.

Time was precious for delivery workers. Normally, Su Chen would have left the package at the dormitory entrance. However, intrigued by the sweet voice, he decided to wait and see who it was.

This dormitory housed freshmen, and Su Chen had heard that this year’s freshmen included many beautiful girls, even three campus beauties.

Perhaps he’d be delivering to one of them.

While waiting, Su Chen spotted his girlfriend, Wang Xiaolian, holding hands with another guy, looking intimate.

He felt a sudden sting of betrayal and confronted them.

“Wang Xiaolian, what’s going on?” he demanded.

Startled by his sudden appearance, Wang Xiaolian panicked.

The guy with her eyed Su Chen disdainfully and asked, “Who is he?”

Before she could answer, Su Chen spoke up, “I’m her boyfriend. Who are you?”

“I’m Liu Hua, a freshman in the finance department with a family worth billions. You, a delivery guy, compete with me? Are you tired of living?” the guy taunted.

Hearing “assets worth billions,” Wang Xiaolian, swayed by greed, said to Su Chen, “Let’s break up.”

Su Chen didn’t beg or plead. He simply responded, “Fine, let’s break up. The next one will be better!”

Wang Xiaolian sneered, “A delivery guy like you dreams of finding a better girlfriend? Keep dreaming.”

Though hurt, Su Chen retorted defiantly, “Fortunes change. Don’t underestimate the young and poor!”

With those words, he turned away toward his bike.

“Hello, where’s my package?” a sweet freshman voice interrupted.

Su Chen looked up, surprised and pleased. “You… you’re Xu Muyan?”

The delivery slip had a username, so he hadn’t realized it was for Xu Muyan.

She blinked in surprise. “You know me?”

“How could I not? You’re one of the three campus beauties, according to the campus forum. I even gave you a ten in the vote!” Su Chen replied enthusiastically.

Amused, Xu Muyan didn’t linger. “Where’s my package?”

Su Chen handed it over. “Remember to give a five-star rating!”

With a nod, Xu Muyan signed for the package and returned to the dorm.

Su Chen watched her leave, admiring her beauty, which exceeded the campus forum photos.

Just then, a voice echoed in his mind.

[Ding, the Delivery Tycoon System is binding… 1%… 10%… 100%]

[Ding, the system has bound successfully. Congratulations for completing a special delivery. You receive a Bugatti Veyron!]

[Ding, the Bugatti Veyron is being delivered today. Keep your phone on for contact.]

Stunned, Su Chen realized luck was finally on his side!

Just after his bold claim of changing fortunes, he’s rewarded with a Bugatti Veyron—a fifty-million-dollar supercar!

Oh, if Wang Xiaolian saw it, she’d surely regret her decision!

Relishing his newfound freedom and prospects, Su Chen decided it wasn’t a waste to pursue a campus beauty.

In high spirits, Su Chen moved on to his next delivery.

In the afternoon at a finance class, the students were abuzz.

“Oh my god, Professor Liu Yue called someone ‘husband’ on Weibo!”

“Yeah, I saw. The account is ‘Peerless Stock God.’ I followed them immediately.”

“This ‘Stock God’ predicts the market better than Professor Liu Yue.”

“They say real experts hide among the people.”

“This is the key to riches. I need to follow them too.”

With her fifty million followers, Liu Yue’s influence spread far and wide. Her Weibo post calling someone ‘husband’ had trended overnight.

The headline read: “Shocking! Financial Genius Liu Yue Acknowledges Husband on Weibo!”

Students who used Weibo shared this and the news spread rapidly.

As they chatted, the sound of high heels clicked down the hallway. Quickly, students scattered to their seats as a cold, authoritative figure entered the room.
